The Charlie Willie Music Festival is a celebration of great music, community, and giving back. The event will feature a local artist, an opening act, and a headliner, showcasing some of the best Texas Country and Red Dirt talent.

In addition to outstanding live music, the Festival will offer a variety of local food trucks, exciting vendors, and exciting offerings. Attendees can enjoy a unique selection of vendors, including a tiny tattoo artist, a custom hat bar, permanent jewelry, and more.

All proceeds from the event will go towards providing Christmas for families in need throughout North Texas, supporting local FFA chapters and giving back to veteran programs in our area.

The Charlie Willie Foundation was created to honor the legacy of Charles William Dishner (known to his mom as Charlie Willie) and to continue his passion for family, faith, music, and service. Chuck’s life was built on these values, and it is with these same values that the Foundation seeks to serve and uplift our community.

Chuck was a veteran, a father, a grandfather, and a friend to many. He was deeply devoted to his family, his love for music, and his commitment to helping others. He believed in the power of music to connect people, to inspire change, and to bring joy. He lived a life of service, always seeking opportunities to give back and make meaningful memories with those he loved.

Through the Charlie Willie Foundation, we carry forward his legacy by supporting the community he cherished. The Foundation will host the Charlie Willie Music Festival, a celebration of music, fellowship, and service. More than just an event, the festival is a way for us to come together for a greater purpose—to make a positive impact and give back to those in need.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit local charities, provide Christmas for families in need, support local FFA chapters and sponsor veteran programs. By partnering with organizations that uplift and strengthen families, farmers and fighters, we continue the legacy of service and love, ensuring that the legacy of commitment to helping others lives on.

In 2025, the Charlie Willie Music Festival proudly provided Christmas for more than 50 children across Grayson County. In 2026, our goal is to provide Christmas for 100 children — and with your support, we know that goal is within reach. Our vision is to continue growing our impact each year, supporting more families and helping make meaningful dreams come true throughout our community.

In 2026, the Charlie Willie Foundation will also launch its Scholarship Program for FFA students across the Texoma area. With many of our board members being FFA alumni, supporting the next generation of agriculture leaders is deeply important to us. From funding LDE and CDE projects to assisting students in pursuing higher education, we are committed to investing in and strengthening our local FFA communities for years to come.

This summer, we are also proud to announce the launch of our community give-back initiative in partnership with local veteran-focused nonprofits. We believe the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country deserve recognition, appreciation, and continued support from the communities they helped protect.
